Bipolar Order: 2011

Well, it's a 7 day weekend, so I have a lot of time.
Post the progress of another drawing I have been working on.

Yes, that is a cross between a T-rex and a chicken. Just like my other posts, this has no meaning behind it. This is the first stage, took about 5 minutes to draw. Using only the paintbrush tool in MS Paint so far.

Outlined the back with the oil pastel brush, and made the head more chicken-like. Added the weird dangling thing chickens have underneath their neck (no jokes, please...) and changed the crest because it was retarded in the first picture.

I think I'm striking a pretty good balance between chicken and T-rex right now. Might make the tail a little more dinosaur like if it looks too much like a chicken.

I'm trying out random color schemes, orange seems to work, but I think I will just do orange on the legs. Just put down the base color, will add texture at a later stage (That spraypaint brush does wonders from skin textures...) Realized that the claws or whatever look kind of retarded right now, will figure out something later.

And that tail, I'm probably going to redo. What does a chicken tail look like?

Shaped up the arms/legs, and did some random stuff with the face. Now for the tail and feet. Probably one more checkpoint until the final thing, with all of the colors filled in. Taken about an hour so far until this point.
